Race 2 is an upcoming Bollywood action thriller film directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced under the Tips Music Films banner and is the first major release of the year. It is the sequel to the 2008 hit film, Race, and stars an ensemble cast that includes Anil Kapoor and Saif Ali Khanreprising their roles as Robert D'Costa and Ranveer Singh from the previous film while Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandezand Ameesha Patel are new additions to the cast. Bipasha Basu will reprise her role of Sonia in a special appearance. The first trailer of Sajid Khan's Himmatwala will be released with the film. Race 2 is scheduled to release on 25th January 2013.

A thief with a unique code of professional ethics is double-crossed by his crew and left for dead. Assuming a new disguise and forming an unlikely alliance with a woman on the inside, he looks to hijack the score of the crew's latest heist.
Parker (Jason Statham) is a professional thief, who doesn't steal from the poor or hurt innocent people. At the beginning of the film, his trusted crew ends up betraying him, and leaving him for dead. However, he survives and follows them to Palm Beach, Florida to get revenge on them. Disguising himself, he enlists the help of real estate agent Leslie Rogers (Jennifer Lopez), one of their targeted victims, to find out about the plan his former crew has made.
Parker is a professional thief who lives by a personal code of ethics: Don't steal from people who can't afford it and don't hurt people who don't deserve it. But on his latest heist, his crew double crosses him.

From Menace II Society through The Book of Eli, Allen and Albert Hughes always worked in tandem as directors and producers, but Allen has gone solo for this presumably hard-boiled genre film written by Brian Tucker, who has no produced screenplays to his credit but has two projects in development -- a remake of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and Basic Instinct soundalike called The Arrangement. Looking at Mark Wahlberg's upcoming movies, this one almost gets lost in the shuffle; for Russell Crowe, it's a pivotal role between a potential Oscar nomination for Les Misérables and his take on the character Jor-El in the Superman reboot Man of Steel.

Catching up with Hansel (Jeremy Renner) and Gretel (Gemma Arterton), fifteen years after the traumatic incident involving a gingerbread house, the siblings have grown into vengeful bounty hunters dedicated to exterminating witches.
